How many physiotherapy sessions will I get?

iCare typically approves an initial block of sessions (commonly up to 8 at a time). As your treating physiotherapist, we can request additional sessions based on your progress and clinical need. There is no fixed limit for the life of a valid claim.
Can I choose my own physiotherapist for a WorkCover claim?

You can still attend physiotherapy while your claim is being assessed. We can discuss payment options with you, in some cases, treatment can be backdated once a claim is accepted. Call us to talk through your situation.
What if my WorkCover claim hasn't been accepted yet?

Yes. Under iCare NSW, you have the right to choose your own treating physiotherapist. You don't need to attend the physio your employer or insurer recommends.
